Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Removal

Left side
- Remove the oil fill cap, remove the engine appearance cover retainers and then remove the engine appearance cover. Install the oil fill cap.
- Disconnect the PCV hose quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Release the electrical harness retainer from the valve cover. Disconnect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.

NOTE: Use compressed air to remove any foreign material from the ignition coil-on-plugs and surrounding area before removing the ignition coil-on-plugs.NOTE: When removing the ignition coil-on-plugs, a slight twisting motion will break the seal and ease removal.
Remove the ignition coil-on-plug retaining bolts, then remove the ignition coil-on-plugs.
Right side
NOTE: The upper intake manifold must be removed to access the RH ignition coil-on-plugs. - Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to: Upper Intake Manifold .
- Disconnect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.

Remove the ignition coil-on-plug retaining bolts, then remove the ignition coil-on-plugs.
