Throttle Body: Removal

  1. Remove the oil fill cap, remove the engine appearance cover retainers and then remove the engine appearance cover. Install the oil fill cap.

  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
  3. NOTE: When disconnecting the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector disengage the red locking tab on the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector by sliding it to the rear of the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector, away from the Throttle Body (TB). Squeeze the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector while removing.

    Disconnect the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector.

  4. Remove the Throttle Body (TB) retaining bolts and then remove the Throttle Body (TB).
