Radiator Lower Hose: Removal

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- If equipped. Remove the pin-type retainers and the radiator site shield.
- If equipped. Remove the pin-type retainers and the radiator site shield.

- Remove the radiator guide pins.
- Using cable ties loosely support the cooling module. Use the General Equipment: Cable Ties
- Remove the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
- Release the clamp and disconnect the lower radiator hose at thermostat housing. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Remove the retainers and the front under body shield.
- Remove the retainers and the lower radiator support.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (24 Nm)
- Remove the retainers and the RH under body shield.
- Detach the pin type retainers and position the lower radiator hose aside.
- Release the clamp and disconnect the lower radiator hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Release the clamp and remove the lower radiator hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
