Oil Pressure Switch: Installation

NOTE: Apply thread sealant with PTFE to the oil pressure switch threads prior to installation.
Install the oil pressure switch.
Material: Motorcraft® Thread Sealant with PTFE / TA-24-B (WSK-M2G350-A2)
Torque: Stage 1: 124 lb.in (14 Nm) Stage 2: 180 deg.
- Connect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.
Vehicles not equipped with an oil cooler
- Install the cooling module support panel and the retainers.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (24 Nm)
- Install the front underbody shield and the retainers.
- Install the underbody shield and the retainers.

- Remove the cable ties or the mechanics wire.
- Install the upper cooling support brackets.
- Install the upper air deflector and retainers.
Vehicles equipped with an oil cooler

NOTE: Only use the specified material to lubricate the seals.
- Install a new O-ring seal.
Material: Motorcraft® PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil / YN-12-D (WSH-M1C231-B)
- Position back the A/C compressor inlet tube and install the nut.
Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
- Install a new O-ring seal.
- Connect the A/C pressure switch and retainer.

- Position back the A/C compressor inlet tube bracket and install the nut.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Connect the engine oil cooler inlet hose retainer.
- Position back the A/C compressor inlet tube bracket and install the nut.
- Install the underbody shield and the retainers.
- Install the Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud. Refer to: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud .
- Charge the A/C system. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .
