Engine Mount: Removal

NOTE:
When removing any turbocharger air intake system components, make sure to cover any open ports to prevent debris from entering the system. The turbocharger compressor vanes can be damaged by even the smallest particles. All components need to be inspected and cleaned prior to installation or reassembly.

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the retainers and the RH underbody shield.

NOTE: Failure to position the wood block and floor jack as illustrated can result in damage to the oil pan.
Support the engine with a floor jack and a wooden block. Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block. Use the General Equipment: Trolley Jack

- Remove the nut.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
- Remove the bolt.
Torque: 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)
- Remove the engine appearance cover.
- If the engine appearance cover stud bolt is loosened or removed, it must be installed/tightened into the intake manifold.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Remove the nut.
- Loosen the clamps and remove the upper CAC outlet pipe.
Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)
- Detach the retainer and position the coolant hose aside.

- Detach the retainers and position the coolant tube aside.
- Detach the retainer and position the wiring harness aside.

NOTE: The engine mount and bracket are serviced as an assembly. Do not remove the engine mount bracket-to-engine mount bolt, this fastener is not serviceable.
- Remove and discard the engine mount bracket-to-engine nuts.
Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
- Remove and discard the engine mount-to-frame nut.
Torque: 66 lb.ft (90 Nm)
- Remove and discard the engine mount-to-frame bolts.
Torque: 81 lb.ft (110 Nm)
- Remove the engine mount and bracket assembly.
- Remove and discard the engine mount bracket-to-engine nuts.
- Clean, inspect, and cover all open ports.
