Rear Bumper Cover: Removal

  1. Remove the outer rear lamp assemblies. Refer to: Rear Lamp Assembly .
  2. Remove the rear wheel and tire assemblies. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
  3. NOTE: On both sides.

    Remove the inner wheel liner to rear bumper cover screws.

  4. NOTE: On both sides.

    Remove the nuts, push pins and the rear bumper cover shield.

  5. Disconnect the rear bumper harness.

  6. Remove the rear center bumper cover shield screws.

  7. Remove the rear bumper cover.

    1. Release the rear bumper cover from the rear bumper cover brackets.
    2. Separate the rear bumper cover from the vehicle body.
