Front Bumper Cover: Disassembly

All vehicles 

  1. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
  2. Remove the rivets and the front bumper brackets.

  3. Remove the screws and the air deflectors.

  4. Remove the front active park assist sensors.

    1. Disconnect the active park assist sensor electrical connectors.
    2. Release the tabs.
    3. Remove the front active park assist sensors.

  5. Remove the front parking aid sensors.

    1. Disconnect the front parking aid sensor electrical connectors.
    2. Release the tabs.
    3. Remove the front parking aid sensors.

  6. Disconnect the fog lamp assembly electrical connectors.

  7. If equipped. Disconnect the front camera electrical connector and the washer hose.

  8. Separate the harness guides and remove the front bumper cover harness.

    Vehicles with base trim package 

  9. Remove the rivets, separate the tabs and remove the lower front bumper cover panel.

    Vehicles with premium trim package 

  10. Separate the tabs and remove the lower front bumper cover panel.

    All vehicles 

  11. NOTE: On both sides.

    Remove the fog lamp bezel.

    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Release the tabs.
    3. Separate the fog lamp bezel from the upper front bumper cover.

    Vehicles with base trim package 

  12. Release the tabs and remove the lower radiator grille.

  13. Release the tabs and remove the lower radiator grille.

  14. NOTE: On both sides.

    Release the tabs and remove the front bumper insert.

  15. NOTE: Base trim package shown, premium trim package is similar.

    Remove the center bumper cover panel.

    • Remove the rivets.

    • Release the tabs.

    Remove the screws and the radiator grill assembly to grill reinforcement fixing.

  17. Release the tabs and remove the upper radiator grille.
