Roof Opening Panel Front Trim: Removal

Trim Panel Installed Without Urethane
NOTE:
Front trim that was not assembled with urethane adhesive can be reinstalled. Always reinstall the trim using urethane.

NOTE: The front trim panel may have been serviced previously and may now have urethane included with no obvious signs. After beginning this step, if the trim seems to have had urethane previously applied, proceed to Trim Panel Installed With Urethane .NOTE: Make sure to remove all broken pieces of clips or a rattle could occur.
Detach the clips and remove the front trim.

NOTE: Make sure to remove all broken pieces of clips or a rattle could occur.NOTE: Some trim panels will be installed with urethane in 2 spots at the outside ends of the trim panel.
Lift upward on the front trim, locate the urethane, and using a putty or razor knife, cut the urethane. Detach any clips that are still attached and then remove and discard the front trim. Use the General Equipment: Knife
