Idler Track Assembly: Removal

- Remove the roof opening panel sliding glass. Refer to: Roof Opening Panel Glass .
- Remove both exterior roof opening panel side trim panels (rear side, front side) on the side of repair. Refer to: Roof Opening Panel Side Trim .

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.
The front cam, seal and rear lifter arm are serviced with a new idler track assembly. Remove the idler track assembly.
- Remove the 6 idler track assembly retainers.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Carefully roll the idler track out of the roof opening panel assembly.
- Remove the 6 idler track assembly retainers.

If replacing front cam. Remove the idler track assembly front cam.
- Remove the idler track assembly front cam retainer.
Torque: 40 lb.in (4.5 Nm)
- Release the clip.
- Pull forward to remove the idler track assembly front cam.
- Remove the idler track assembly front cam retainer.
