Panoramic Roof Opening Panel

The panoramic roof opening panel is comprised of the following subsystems which allow the driver to control the configuration of the vehicle's roof.
- Air deflector
- Roof opening panel control switch
- Roof opening panel frame assembly
- Roof opening panel sliding glass
- Roof opening panel fixed glass
- Antenna mounting plate (PIA to the roof opening panel fixed glass)
- Rear lifter arms
- Roof opening panel motor
- Roof opening panel cable and guide assembly (PIA to main the track assembly)
- Roof opening panel shield
- Roof opening panel shield motor
- Roof opening panel shield cable and guide assembly (PIA to the main track assembly)
- Main track assembly
- Idler track assembly
- Roof opening panel motor block and drive tube assembly
- Roof opening panel center beam trim (interior)
- Front and rear side trim and front trim panels (exterior)
- Various seals
- Roof opening panel wiring harness jumper
- Headliner center support bracket
The panoramic roof opening panel provides occupant control of the amount outside light and air entering through the roof. The roof opening panel switch assembly controls all functions of the system.
The roof opening panel motors must be initialized when repairs are carried out on any part of the roof opening panel system or when the roof opening panel motor, glass, assembly, or air deflector has been removed or replaced for any reason.
