Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The DDM communicates with the SODL over the CAN. If the DDM does not receive messages from the SODL, the side obstacle detection feature can be inoperative for the left side.

DDM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0232:00 Lost Communication With Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Left: No Sub-Type Information Sets when the DDM detects data messages are missing from the SODL.
