Loadspace Trim Panel: Removal

All vehicles 

  1. Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.

  2. Remove the liftgate scuffplate trim panel retainers.

    Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  3. Position aside the liftgate weatherstrip, release the clips and remove the liftgate scuffplate trim panel.

  4. Release the clips and remove the rear door scuffplate trim panel.

    Vehicles With: Inflatable Safety Belts 

    NOTE: Follow the unique instructions or graphics for these steps in installation.
  5. Open the safety belt tongue cover.

    1. Push the safety belt tongue lower cover to one side, lift and disengage that side of the cover.
    2. Push the safety belt tongue lower cover to one side, lift and disengage that side of the cover and open the cover.

  6. Disassemble the lap belt from the safety belt tongue.

    1. Push down on the lap belt and spring clip.
    2. Remove the pin.
    3. Pull the lap belt out of the safety belt tongue cover.

    All vehicles 

  7. Release the clips, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the loadspace trim panel.
