Power Liftgate Motor: Removal

Remove the LH D-pillar trim panel.
Disconnect the power liftgate motor electrical connector.

Route the power liftgate motor electrical harness through the body.

WARNING: Keep all body parts clear of power liftgate motor. The compressed spring in a damaged power liftgate motor can release large amount of force during removal. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

NOTE: Support the liftgate at full open position before removing the power liftgate motor. Failure to follow this direction may result in damage to the components.

Remove the clips and the power liftgate motor.
