Cruise Control Module (CCM): Removal

Cruise control module (CCM) 

  1. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
  2. Disconnect the CCM electrical connector.

  3. Separate the CCM grommets and remove the CCM.

  4. Inspect the grommets for damage. If damaged, install new grommets.

    Cruise control module (CCM) bracket 

  5. Remove the CCM.
  6. Remove the screws and the LH under engine shield.

  7. Remove the rear CCM bracket nut.

    Torque

    : 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  8. Remove the CCM bracket.

    1. Separate the wiring harness retainers.
    2. Remove the CCM bracket bolts.

      Torque

      : 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

    3. Slide the CCM bracket out of the front bumper slot.
