Luggage Compartment Lid Alignment

Inspection 

1. Check luggage compartment lid to body dimensions. Refer to: Body and Frame .

   All alignments 

   NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
2. Remove the luggage compartment lid latch. Refer to: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID LATCH - COUPE . Refer to: Luggage Compartment Lid Latch - Convertible .

   Luggage compartment lid fore and aft, left and right alignments 

3. Loosen the bolts to permit movement of the luggage compartment lid. Loosen: : 2 turn(s)

4. Adjust the luggage compartment lid to specifications. Refer to: Body and Frame .

5. Carefully open luggage compartment lid.

6. Tighten the nuts.

   Torque

   : 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

7. Adjust the adjusting screws.

8. Adjust the luggage compartment lid to specifications. Refer to: Body and Frame .

9. Open the luggage compartment lid.

10. Adjust the luggage compartment lid bump stop rubbers.

13. Install the removed components.
