Front Bumper Cover: Removal

All vehicles 

1. Remove the front wheels and tires. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
2. On both sides. Remove the push pins.

   Vehicles equipped with V8 performance package 

3. On both sides. Remove the push pins and position the inner fender liner aside.

4. Remove the push pins, screws and the lower air deflector.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

   Vehicles not equipped with V8 performance package 

5. On both sides. Remove the push pins and position the inner fender liner aside.

6. On both sides. Remove the screws and the front stone deflector extension.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

7. Remove the push pins, screws and the lower air deflector.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

   All vehicles 

8. On both sides. Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector.

9. On both sides. Remove the front bumper cover to fender push-pin and the nuts.

   Torque

   : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

10. Remove the push pins and the radiator sight shield.

11. With the help of an assistant. Remove the front bumper cover.
    1. Remove the screws.

       Torque

       : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

    2. Remove the screws.

       Torque

       : 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

    3. Lift the front bumper cover up and off the alignment pins.
    4. Pull the front bumper cover forward and off the vehicle.
