Front Brake Flexible Hose: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this article, refer to Safety Warnings in General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .

  2. Remove the wheel ant tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
  3. Remove the flow bolt and detach the front brake hose. Discard the washers.

    Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

    1. Disconnect the brake tube fitting.

      Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)

    2. Remove the brake flexible hose bracket bolt, the clip and the brake flexible hose.

      Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
