Coolant Pump: Installation

- Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant and install the coolant pump.
Material: Motorcraft ® Orange Concentrated Antifreeze/Coolant / VC-3-B (WSS-M97B44-D)
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Install the coolant pump pulley and install the bolts finger tight.
- Remove the waterproof plastic from the A/C belt. Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner and install the accessory drive belt.
- Tighten the coolant pump pulley bolts.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
