Draining
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
.
- If equipped. Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.

- Remove the PTU drain plug.

- Install the PTU drain plug.
Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)

Filling
- Remove the PTU fill plug.

- Fill the PTU with clean fluid, level with the fill plug opening.

- Install the PTU fill plug.
