Engine Mount: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to : Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the degas bottle. Refer to : Degas Bottle .
- Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.

NOTE: Failure to position the wood block and floor jack as illustrated can result in damage to the oil pan.
Support the engine with a floor jack and a wooden block. Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block Use the General Equipment: Trolley Jack

- Remove the nut.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the engine appearance cover.
- If the engine appearance cover stud bolt is loosened or removed, it must be installed/tightened into the intake manifold.
Torque: 62 lb. in (7 Nm)
- Loosen the clamps and remove the upper CAC outlet pipe.
- Detach the retainers and position the wiring harness and coolant hose aside.

- Remove and discard the engine mount-to-engine nuts.
- Remove and discard the engine mount-to-frame nut.
- Remove and discard the engine mount-to-frame bolts.
- Remove the engine mount.
