Throttle Body: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Uncover the covered ports.
Inspect the Throttle Body (TB) gasket, clean and replace the Throttle Body (TB) gasket as needed.

Install the Throttle Body (TB), then install and tighten the Throttle Body (TB) bolts.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE: When connecting the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector engage the red connector locking tab after fully installing the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector. The red tab will not slide forward unless the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector is fully installed.

Connect the Throttle Body (TB) electrical connector. and then attach the Throttle Body (TB) harness retainer.

NOTE: When installing the Throttle Body (TB) inlet tube, make sure that the Throttle Body (TB) inlet tube is fully seated against the hose stops.

Install the Throttle Body (TB) inlet tube and then tighten the Throttle Body (TB) inlet tube clamp.

Torque: 44 lb.in (5.0 Nm)

Install the engine appearance cover, then install and tighten the engine appearance cover retainers.
Torque:

1: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)

2: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
