Rear Lower Arm - RS: Installation

NOTE: Align the mark on the rear lower arm adjustment cam to the mark on the rear subframe.

NOTE: Do not fully tighten the rear lower arm adjustment cam nut at this time.

NOTE: Only tighten the bolt finger tight at this stage.

Position the rear lower arm and install the new rear lower arm-to-rear subframe bolt, nut and washers.

Install the spring. Refer to: Spring .
NOTE: Final tightening of the rear lower arm-to-rear subframe nut should be carried out with the suspension at curb height.

Support the rear lower arm. Use the General Equipment: Vehicle/Axle Stands

NOTE: Tighten the suspension bushing fasteners with the suspension loaded or with the weight of the vehicle resting on the wheels and tires, otherwise incorrect clamp load and bushing damage may occur.

Tighten the rear lower arm-to-rear subframe retainer.

Torque

: 66 lb.ft (90 Nm)

Check and, if necessary, adjust the rear toe. Refer to: Rear Toe Adjustment .
