Throttle Body: Installation

NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of corrosion and foreign material.

Inspect the Throttle Body (TB) gasket, clean or replace as needed.

1. Install the throttle body (TB), then install and tighten the throttle body (TB) bolts, in the sequence shown.
  Torque
  
  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
2. Connect the throttle body (TB) electrical connector, then attach the wire harness from the retaining clip.

Position the charge air cooler inlet tube back into position.

Install the underbody shield, then install and tighten the underbody shield retainers.
Torque

: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

Connect the charge air cooler inlet tube, then tighten the charge air cooler inlet tube clamp.
Torque

: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Install the engine appearance cover.
