Throttle Body: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Loosen the throttle body (TB) inlet tube clamp and then position the throttle body (TB) inlet tube aside.
Torque

: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

1. If equipped. Remove the screws and the deflector shield.
2. Remove the screws and the engine undershield.

1. Disconnect the throttle body (TB) electrical connector, detach the wire harness from the retaining clip.
2. Remove the bolts and the throttle body (TB).
  Torque
  
  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure that a new Throttle Body (TB) gasket is installed.

Remove and discard the throttle body (TB) gasket.
