Throttle Body: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Install a new throttle body gasket.

NOTE: Tighten the Throttle Body (TB) mounting bolts evenly.

Install the throttle body, then install and tighten the throttle body bolts.

Torque

:Stage 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm) Stage 2: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

Connect the throttle body electrical connector.

Install the throttle body inlet pipe and install the throttle body inlet pipe bolt finger tight at this stage.
1. Tighten the throttle body inlet pipe clamp.
  Torque
  
  : 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)
2. Tighten the throttle body inlet pipe clamp.
  Torque
  
  : 36 lb.in (4.1 Nm)
3. Tighten the throttle body inlet pipe bolt.
  Torque
  
  : 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

1. Connect the quick release coupling and the electrical connector. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
