Power Transfer Unit Cooler: Removal

- Remove the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
- Using the hose clamps, pinch off the PTU coolant hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp(s)
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the under body shield.

NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Remove the PTU cooler lines and position aside.

Remove the PTU cooler bolts and the PTU cooler.
