Power Transfer Unit Cooler: Installation

NOTE: The O-ring seals are to be reused unless damaged.
Inspect the PTU cooler O-rings, replace the cooler if orings are damaged.
- Install the PTU cooler and the PTU cooler bolts.
Torque
: 124 lb.in (14 Nm)
- Position the PTU cooler lines and install the PTU cooler line clamps.
- Check the PTU fluid. Refer to: Power Transfer Unit Fluid Level Check .
- Remove the hose clamps. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp(s)
- Install the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
- Check the engine coolant. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
