Selector Mechanism: Installation

Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
Material
: Motorcraft® Gasket Maker / TA-16 (WSK-M2G348-A5)
NOTE:
Make sure that the wiring harness does not catch.
NOTE:
Note the different lengths of the bolts.
- Torque
: 19 lb.ft (26 Nm)
- Torque
: 19 lb.ft (26 Nm)
Torque
: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
WARNING:
Make sure that a new bolt is installed.
Torque
: 109 lb.ft (148 Nm)

Torque
: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
Refer to: Battery Tray .
Remove the following items:
- Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block. Use the General Equipment: Trolley Jack

Install engine undershield - If equipped.
