Selector Lever Knob: Removal

NOTE: The O/D cancel switch and the SelectShift™ switch are part of the selector lever knob. To install a new O/D cancel switch or SelectShift™ switch, a new selector lever knob must be installed.
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the selector lever bezel trim panel, detach the selector lever bezel and disconnect the electrical connector. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  2. Position the selector lever bezel out of the way.

  3. Disconnect the selector lever electrical connector.

  4. Remove the screws and the selector lever knob and bezel as an assembly.

  5. Remove the selector lever knob.
