Main Control Cover: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Inspect the transmission main control cover seal for damage and install new if necessary.

  2. NOTE: Install the studbolts in the locations noted during removal.

    Install the main control cover, the bolts and the stud bolts.

    Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

  3. Install the wiring harness brackets and the nuts.

    Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  4. Position back the wiring harness and coolant hose. Connect the wiring harness retainers and install the ground bolt.

    1. Ground bolt.

      Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

  5. Connect the wiring harness retainers, connect the transmission electrical connector and the auxiliary pump electrical connector.

  6. Connect the TSS sensor and the wiring harness retainer.

  7. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
  8. Fill the transmission with transmission fluid. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill .
  9. Install the engine undershield. Refer to: Engine Undershield .
