Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) Sensor: Removal

NOTE:
When removing any turbocharger air intake system components, make sure to cover any open ports to prevent debris from entering the system. The turbocharger compressor vanes can be damaged by even the smallest particles. All components need to be inspected and cleaned prior to installation or reassembly.

- Remove the engine appearance cover.
- Disconnect the vent tube and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
Torque
:Bolt: 89 lb.in (10 Nm) Clamp: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the crankcase vent tube.
- Position aside the shield and disconnect the CHT sensor.

NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed.
Remove the CHT sensor.
Torque
: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
