Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) Sensor: Removal

1. Remove the bolt.
  Torque
  
  : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
2. Loosen the air cleaner outlet pipe clamps and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.

  : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

1. Disconnect and position aside the vent tube.
2. Remove the bolt.
  Torque
  
  : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
3. Remove the retainer.
  Torque
  
  : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
4. Loosen the air cleaner outlet pipe clamps and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
  Torque
  
  : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Slide the insulator up and disconnect the CHT sensor electrical connector.

Discard the specified component. Follow local disposal regulations. Remove the CHT sensor.

: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
