Manifold Absolute Pressure and Temperature (MAPT) Sensor: Removal

- Remove the engine appearance cover.
- Disconnect the vacuum tube.

- Loosen the air cleaner outlet pipe clamps, remove the nuts. Disconnect the vacuum tube from air outlet pipe. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
Torque
:1: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)2: 35 lb.in (4 Nm)
- Disconnect the fuel evaporative tube quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Disconnect the PCV quick release coupling.
- Disconnect the turbocharger boost pressure and charge air temperature sensor electrical connector and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe assembly.
- Loosen the air cleaner outlet pipe clamps, remove the nuts. Disconnect the vacuum tube from air outlet pipe. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Disconnect the electrical connector, remove retainer and MAPT sensor.
Torque
: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
