Removal And Installation: Flywheel: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Remove the clutch disc and pressure plate. Refer to: Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate .
  3. NOTE: Do not reuse the flywheel bolts.

    1. Install Special Service Tool: 303-1602 Locking Tool, Crankshaft.
    2. Remove the bolts and the flywheel. Discard the bolts.

    • Remove Special Service Tool: 303-1602 Locking Tool, Crankshaft.
