Pinpoint Test Ar : The Engine Over-Temperature RECONFIGURABLE Telltale (RTT) Is Never Or Always On

AR1 CHECK THE RECONFIGURABLE TELLTALE (RTT) FUNCTION
- Close all doors and the liftgate.
- Ignition ON.
- NOTE: If multiple warnings are present, the message center cycles through each of the warning indicators. Allow the message center to cycle through each display while determining whether the door ajar Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT) is active.
  
  Open the driver door while monitoring the door ajar Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT).
Does the driver door ajar Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT) turn off with the driver door closed and illuminate with the driver door open?

Yes GO to AR2.

No REFER to GO to Pinpoint Test AQ .

AR2 PERFORM THE PCM KOEO SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the PCM KOEO self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?

Yes REFER to Electronic Engine Controls .

No GO to AR3.

AR3 PERFORM THE IPC SELF-TEST

Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.

Are any DTCs recorded?

Yes	REFER to DTC Chart: IPC .
No	If the engine over-temperature Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT) is always on, INSTALL a new PCM. REFER to Electronic Engine Controls .If the engine over-temperature Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT) is never on, the system is operating normally.
