for schematic and connector information. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions The park lock pawl solenoid locks the park lock pawl valve when energized, either in the park position or the out of park position. The park lock pawl solenoid is extended when voltage is applied to it and retracted when the voltage is not applied. This solenoid is also used during a stop start event to keep the vehicle out of park. DTC Fault Trigger Conditions |
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Condition |
|---|---|---|
| TCM P07E4:00 | Unable to Engage Park: No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets if the TCMPark Lock/Pawl Actuator Circuit Performance detects that the movement to Park timed out. |
| TCM P07E6:00 | Stuck in Park: No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets if the TCM detects too large of a sensor air gap, an OSS sensor fault or an undetected clutch fault. |
| TCM P2888:00 | Park Lock/Pawl Actuator Circuit/Open: No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets if the TCM detects too large of a sensor air gap, an intermediate shaft speed sensor A fault or an undetected clutch fault. |
| TCM P2889:00 | Park Lock/Pawl Actuator Circuit Low: No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets if the TCM detects too large of a sensor air gap, an intermediate shaft speed sensor B fault or an undetected clutch fault. |
| TCM P288A:00 | Park Lock/Pawl Actuator Circuit High: No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets if the TCM detects a short to power circuit fault in the park lock pawl solenoid or circuitry. |
| TCM P288B:00 | Park Lock/Pawl Actuator Circuit Performance: No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets if the TCM detects a circuit fault in the park lock pawl solenoid or circuitry and the park lock pawl solenoid is functionally stuck off. This DTC may also be set when the driver selects the stay in neutral mode and the system recognizes that the system cannot keep the park valve locked out of park. Under these conditions the park valve returns to the park position uncommanded. A start stop event was attempted but the park lock pawl solenoid did not keep the transmission out of park disabling the start stop function. |
