Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The DCMR uses a solid state driver (Field Effect Transistor (FET)) to control the output of several vehicle systems. When an overload occurs on any of these drivers, the DCMR disables the output and tracks the number of repetitive faults on each of these circuits. The module compares this number of overloads to 1, 00, 000 progressive thresholds established for each circuit. When the maximum number of threshold for each circuit are reached, DTC U3000:49 sets along with the DTC associated with the affected circuit.
