Removal And Installation

- 1.
Remove the thermostat housing. For additional information, refer to Thermostat Housing .
- 2.
Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud. For additional information, refer to Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud .
- 3.NOTE: Intake manifold removed for clarity.
Remove the coolant inlet pipe.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
- 4.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.- Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate them with clean engine coolant.
