Pinpoint Test C : The Visual Park Aid Alert Is Inoperative: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

REFER to: Parking Aid - System Operation and Component Description  .

Possible Causes 

• The feature is disabled
• Rear park aid camera configuration
• Audible parking aid system concern
• FCDIM (4.2 in [107 mm] display) concern
• APIM (8 in [203 mm] touchscreen display) concern
• BCM concern

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks 

• If the rear parking aid camera is not configured after replacement, some video functions will be inoperative. Verify the rear parking aid camera configuration using the diagnostic scan tool.
• Verify that the visual parking aid alert is enabled in the FCDIM (4.2 in [107 mm] display) using the display button or using the FDIM (8 in [203 mm] display) settings menu.
