F1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

Yes REFER to DTC Chart: IPC .

No GO to F2

F2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) MODULE SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the ABS module self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

Yes REFER to: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control .

No GO to F3

F3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the BCM self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

Yes REFER to: Body Control Module (BCM) .

No GO to F4

F4 CHECK THE SPEEDOMETER OPERATION USING THE DEALER TEST MODE
- Ignition ON.
- Monitor the speedometer.
- Ignition OFF.
- Enter the Dealer Test Mode. Enter the Dealer Test Mode. REFER to: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) - SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
- Scroll to gauge sweep.
- Monitor the speedometer when the gauge sweep initiates.
Does the speedometer begin at 0 km/h (0 mph), move to 258 km/h (160 mph) and return to 0 km/h (0 mph)?

Yes INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module .

No Refer to IPC GUIDED ROUTINE TESTING
