BCM Network Input Messages 

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
Transmission gear lever position (automatic transmission only) TCM Used to enable the parking aid when the transmission selector is in REVERSE on automatic transmission vehicles.
Vehicle speed PCM Used to calculate the distance to objects detected by the rear sensors.

Parking aid chime request BCM Used to request parking aid chimes through the audio system speakers.
