Gearshift Cable Adjustment - 6-Speed Manual Transmission - B6

Adjustment 

1. Position the gearshift in N and apply the P brake.

2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
3. Unlock the adjuster.

4. Move the gearshift select cable back and forth and verify free motion.

5. NOTE: By placing the gearshift lever into the 4th gear position, it locks the small lever into the N position.

   Position the gearshifter in 4th gear.

6. Lock the adjuster.

7. Install the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
8. Release the parking brake.
