Coolant Bypass Solenoid Valve: Removal

Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
Remove the engine appearance cover.

Position the resonator assembly aside.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Release the clamp and disconnect the coolant hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
3. Remove the bolts and the coolant bypass solenoid valve.
  Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
