Disassembly And Assembly Of Subassemblies: Differential: Disassembly

NOTE: Use vise jaw protectors.

1. Clamp the differential in a vise.
2. Remove the bearing. Use the General Equipment: Bearing Separator. Use the General Equipment: Puller

3. Remove the bearing. Use the General Equipment: Bearing Separator. Use the General Equipment: Puller

4. Remove the following items:
   1. Loosen: Four turn(s)
   2. Remove and discard the bolts.
   3. Save four bolts for reassembly.

5. Lightly tap the bolts to remove the ring gear from the differential and remove the 4 bolts.
