Police Options

MyFleet Management 

NOTE: MyFleet management settings can be set using a scan tool under the Toolbox > Body > Service Functions menus.

The MyFleet management provides an optional police enhanced speed limiting feature that allows the configuration of the maximum vehicle speed. The police enhanced speed limiting feature must be configured using a diagnostic scan tool and can be configured in increments of 8 km/h (5 mph) beginning at 145 km/h (90 mph) up to 8 km/h (5 mph) less than the vehicle's maximum speed.

Police Silent Mode/Dark Car Mode 

NOTE: The IPC and PRNDL may appear inoperative when the dark car mode is in use. The dark car mode turns off the IPC backlighting and gauge illumination to allow the driver to remain less visible when in the vehicle with the selector lever in park.

The message center provides a menu selection to allow the driver to turn on the police silent mode/dark car mode. The police silent mode disables or controls the following features:
