Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

NOTE: If a MyKey restricted key is in use, the parking aid menu is not available in the message center and cannot be deactivated.

NOTE: Before disconnecting the PAM or any of the parking aid sensors, verify the connectors are properly seated and latched.

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks

Verify the rear parking and front parking aid (if equipped) is enabled in the IPC message center. If the concern is still present after the parking aid is enabled or the parking aid cannot be enabled, continue with this pinpoint test.
