Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor: Removal

1.

Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .

2.

Release spring clamp and position aside the heater hose.

Disconnect the ECT sensor electrical connector.

Remove retainer clip and then remove ECT sensor.
