Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The PCM controls torque converter lock-up by varying the amount of current applied to the TCC solenoid. When no current is applied to the TCC solenoid, the TCC is fully released. When maximum current is applied, the TCC is fully applied.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| P0742 | TCC Solenoid Circuit Stuck On | Short to ground in the TCC solenoid or wiring harness. |
| P0743 | TCC Solenoid Circuit Electrical | Open or short to ground in the TCC solenoid or wiring harness. |
| P0744 | TCC Solenoid Circuit Intermittent | Short to power in the TCC solenoid or wiring harness. |
| P2760 | TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Intermittent | Intermittent circuit in the TCC solenoid or wiring harness. Open, short to ground or short to power. |

- Connectors damaged or pushed-out terminals, corrosion, loose wires and missing or damaged seals
- TCC solenoid
- Transmission internal wiring harness frame
