Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the front stabilizer bar. Refer to: Front Stabilizer Bar .
  2. NOTE: Note the position of the component before removal.

    Remove the front stabilizer bar bushing bracket and the bushing.

  3. NOTE: Make sure that the component is clean, free of foreign material and lubricant.

    Align the front stabilizer bar into a vise and press the bushing bracket against the front stabilizer bar bushing.

    1. Metal strip
    2. NOTE: Make sure that the component is installed to the position noted before removal.

      Use the General Equipment: Vise

  4. NOTE: Note the position of the component before removal.

    Remove the front stabilizer bar bushing bracket and the bushing.

  5. NOTE: Make sure that the component is clean, free of foreign material and lubricant.

    Align the front stabilizer bar into a vise and press the front stabilizer bar bushing bracket against the bushing.

    1. Metal strip
    2. NOTE: Make sure that the component is installed to the position noted before removal.

      Use the General Equipment: Vise
