Front Suspension - Overview

General information 

The new Tourneo Connect/Transit Connect has been developed to offer a high degree of driving comfort and safety. This has been achieved by modifying the front axle.

A reworked McPherson front axle is used.

The following components have been modified compared with the Transit Connect/Tourneo Connect 2002.5 (06/2002-): 

• Modified stabilizer bar
• Modified shock absorber
• Modified spring
